Dr. Augusta M. Pickens, EdD is the Vice President of Executive Coaching Services for MKCircle Enterprises and CEO Institute, where she provides strategic leadership for the organization’s Executive Coaching Services division. In this executive leadership role, she partners closely with the CEO to develop, implement, and enhance executive coaching programs, leadership development initiatives, and organizational strategies that support executives, business owners, nonprofit leaders, and organizations in achieving lasting success. She also oversees the recruitment, training, supervision, and professional development of Executive Coaches while ensuring excellence and consistency in coaching delivery across the organization.
With more than 30 years of leadership, management, and organizational development experience, Dr. Pickens has built a distinguished career guiding professionals, leading high-performing teams, and developing innovative programs that foster leadership excellence and organizational growth. Her extensive background spans higher education, executive leadership, student success, operations management, and organizational development, where she has successfully led strategic initiatives, managed complex operations, supervised multidisciplinary teams, and championed inclusive environments that empower individuals to thrive.
As an Executive Coach, Dr. Pickens is passionate about helping leaders strengthen their confidence, enhance their leadership effectiveness, navigate organizational challenges, and achieve meaningful professional growth. Dr. Pickens earned her Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration and Master of Science in Education from the University of Southern California, along with a Certificate in Management of College Student Services. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Los Angeles.
