Long Beach, CA — April 2025 — The MKCircle CEO Institute is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with 102.3 KJLH Radio Free, launching a powerful new initiative designed to support and scale Black women-owned small businesses across Southern California.

Introducing the Level-Up Series—a four-part virtual cohort experience designed to help women entrepreneurs not just survive but thrive in today’s competitive business landscape. The series will kick off on May 8, 2025, and will run through May 29, 2025, with weekly evening sessions from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

This innovative series, spearheaded by Dr. Karen Semien-McBride, a respected Business Strategist and Organizational Psychologist, will dive into far more than profitability and sustainability. It will tackle a vital but often neglected element of success: the CEO’s own leadership capacity, clarity, and commitment in navigating day-to-day business challenges.

“It’s time we stop treating small business development as just about numbers and start nurturing the leader behind the brand,” says Dr. Semien-McBride. “This program is about capacity-building from the inside out.”

What to Expect:

The series will be anchored in MKCircle’s signature EOES Growth Framework, guiding participants through:

• Emulating successful strategies
• Originating fresh, innovative approaches
• Establishing solid foundations
• Sustaining long-term business growth

Participants will also receive targeted training in Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Operational Style theory, helping them better understand their leadership style and how to maximize productivity and impact.
