Program Overview

Being Strategic is a key factor in running and operating a business. However, Strategy is a conscious choice of a growth mindset. Every business idea, investment, and/or collaboration must allow for consideration of a decision-making process.  Being aware of strategic business and market movements can only make for effective decision making.

This program is a 4-part series of 1-hour sessions for small business owners. We teach you where the strategy lies and how to use it.  A notable factor in strategy is awareness, even more, critical is emotional awareness.  Often in business and even more often in small business decisions are made emotionally and not strategically.

We focus on these core factors: Emotional awareness, accurate assessment of strengths and limitations, and confidence in gathering the information.

Business owners have a great deal of pressure to keep profit moving up and cost down. Positioning your business for optimal growth comes with making the most effective decisions.  This training helps strengthen the individual by exploring how Emotional Intelligence can be a highly effective tool to use in a high-pressure position or situation. Also, the program offers small business owners the indicators that will support solid data gathering, understanding timely decisions, and the true ROI (Return on Investment).

The program explores the business sector, individual behaviors, and the application of effective decision making and business awareness as it pertains to being strategic in your business to enhance services, products, and profits.

Harvard Business Journal sites that, “categorizing the problems and growth patterns of small businesses in a systematic way that is useful to entrepreneurs seems at first glance a hopeless task. Small businesses vary widely in size and capacity for growth. They are characterized by independence of action, differing organizational structures, and varied management styles”.

Another goal of the program is to support the issues of small business sustainability through understanding strategies of communication, growth, market positioning, and modeling.  Business Health 102 also explores how emotions, operational style, and personal obligations weigh on strategic decision making.

Business owners complete the program with tools that will support effective decision making, strategic communication, and planning.
