Anger management is a counseling program for anger prevention and control. We described it as “regulating anger successfully.” Anger is frequently a result of frustration, or of feeling blocked or thwarted from something the subject feels is important. Our goal is to support the regulation of both emotional feelings and the physiological arousal that anger causes. While we can’t get rid of or sometimes avoid the things or the people that enrage us, we can learn to control our reactions and shift our mindset for greater productivity and performance.
