A successful nonprofit development, fundraising, administration, and volunteering experience of twenty years. From advocating at the state capitol for strengthening college readiness for underserved, low-income students to hosting a series of town halls for the 2020 Presidential Election, Tamela brings stellar communication skills to her work as a coach and professional mentor. She finds much joy and meaning in helping others achieve those goals they perhaps find most difficult or previously impossible to reach.

Formerly the Chair of the Community Life Commission for the City of Pomona and the Board Treasurer for the YWCA, she has also worked as a successful organizational consultant for her own T. Veronique Consulting firm. She formerly served as the President of the African American Parent Advisory Council for Pomona Unified School District, Education Chair for the NAACP Pomona Valley Branch, and as a member of the College for All Coalition. She believes that clarity is the superpower needed to create a lasting impact.

She has a Bachelor of Science, in Psychology and a Master of Public Administration, Urban Management and Affairs both from the University of La Verne. Tamela serves as a Business & Entrepreneur Strategy Coach with MKCircle CEO Institute.
