Dr. Gregory Burks, MBA, PhD

AS expert is managing nonprofits, communities, and governmental organizations for more than 30 years. With expertise in leadership training, strategic planning, and specialized knowledge in finance and budgets, he has served as the executive director of the Youth Opportunity Movement for the City of Los Angeles Community Development Department, and as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation. A former school board member for the ABC Unified School District and director of Workforce Development System: Adult Operations at the City of Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department, he excels at growing community engagement, as well as organizational and leadership development in both the for-profit and nonprofit spaces.

With a certification in labor-management training from Harvard University, Dr. Greg also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton, an MBA in Business Administration from Golden Pacific University, and a Ph.D. from Friends International Christian University. He is a member of 100 Black Men Los Angeles, the National Black MBA Association, and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Tau Tau Chapter. Dr. Greg serves as an Executive/Leadership & Professional Coach with MKCircle CEO Institute.
